This city is one of the oldest Phoenician cities in the region. It is also rich in history and culture.\nFirst, we will explore:\n\n\nSidon Sea Castle – The Crusaders built this castle in 1228 AD on a small rocky island. It stands on the site of an old Phoenician temple.\n\n\nAudi Soap Museum – This museum was once a 17th-century soap factory. Today, it shows the history of traditional soap making in Lebanon.\n\n\nDebbane Palace – This 18th-century home reflects Arab-Ottoman design. Visitors can walk through its rooms and learn about life in the past.\n\n\nEl Kikhya Mosque – This mosque dates back to the Ottoman era. It is known for its tall and elegant minaret.\n\n\nSt. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral (if open) – Many believe this church was built over an older one.\n\n\nSidon Old Souk – Next, we will walk through this old market. It runs through the heart of the city.\n\n\nKhan el Franj – Finally, we will visit this 17th-century inn. Emir Fakhreddine built it to support trade with Europe.\n\n\nAfter the tour, we will head to a local restaurant.
