Beit El Qamar joins the Souk el Tayeb family.

Nestled on a hill above Deir El Qamar lies the newest addition to the Souk El Tayeb brand of guest houses, Beit El Qamar.

The seven room guest house is surrounded by vegetable gardens and colorful terraces where visitors can enjoy views of Beiteddine. The characteristic Tawlet Beit El Qamar restaurant serves an eclectic buffet at weekends with specialities from the region prepared by guest cooks.

Established in 2004, Souk El Tayeb began as a weekly farmers market in the heart of Beirut. The organization has continued to grow with its creation of Tawlet Souk El Tayeb restaurant in 2009 and a selection of village guesthouses more recently. “We wanted to continue the adventure by creating Beit,” said Mr. Kamal Mouzawak, Founder of Souk El Tayeb.
