Over the Rainbow Collective Art Show – Bossa Nova Hotel
‘OVER THE RAINBOW’ — A Collective Art Show of Hope and Magic
October 3–10, 12 PM–7 PM | Bossa Nova Hotel, Sin El Fil
“Somewhere over the rainbow, skies are blue, and the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true…”
Inspired by this line, Over the Rainbow is a celebration of hope, change, and the enduring power of dreams. The rainbow stands as a symbol of transition — from uncertainty to color, renewal, and possibility.
The show features the work of 16 women artists from the six seasons of Artists of Beirut. Together, they present over 50 eclectic artworks. These span a wide range of mediums: painting, sculpture, mixed media, collage, photography, digital art, ceramics, and upcycled art.
Furthermore, this exhibition highlights the diversity and talent of Lebanon’s contemporary women artists. In addition, it reflects the evolving story of artistic resilience.
Participating Artists:
Anna Bondavalli Ward, Zeina Chehab, Vanessa Dammous, Karin Hantes, Maral Maniss, Lama Mansour, Ramona Mansour, Nevine Mattar, Nicole Mezher, Joana Mocachen, Joanna Raad, Aline Sawouk Kallab, Aida Tannoury, Patricia Vivian, Zena Yachoui, and Guest of the Season Karin Timmermans.
Artists of Beirut was founded in June 2020 by Carole Ayoub and Yara Jahchan. Since then, it has grown into a platform for promoting Lebanese women’s art. So far, it has brought together 74 artists and organized more than 20 exhibitions and events.
