Still Standing, Still Dancing, Abdallah Al Kayed

Kalim Bechara is delighted to invite you to “Still Standing, Still Dancing,” a solo exhibition by Jordanian artist Abdallah Al Kayed, on Thursday, February 12, at 6 PM.

Still Standing, Still Dancing presents instinctive, emotional works rooted in personal experience. Using bold color, raw line, and symbolic figures, Al Kayed creates paintings that feel direct and human. He works intuitively, leaving space for imperfection, gesture, and movement. Animals, objects, and repeated symbols act as emotional signs rather than fixed stories.

Shaped by life across different cultures, the exhibition explores identity, resilience, and tension, where joy and struggle exist together. Presented in Beirut, it invites viewers to feel, endure, and keep dancing.
