Yahchouch Hike & Cultural Escape
Embark on an unforgettable adventure in Yahchouch, a picturesque mountain village in Mount Lebanon where nature, culture, and history converge.
The name “Yahchouch” traces back to the Syriac “Yeh Hoshusho,” a reference tied to the legend of the wounded god Adonis and the nearby Nahr Ibrahim (Adonis River). This village lies within the heart of Jabal Moussa, a biosphere reserve protected by the Yahchouch municipality.
Discover lush pine forests, hidden waterfalls, and sweeping views of the Nahr Ibrahim valley.
✨ A heartfelt thank you to the local youth for reviving and maintaining these historic hiking trails.
