Dear hikers,
Come and experience with LAT this Saturday 28th of May the pleasant moments of hiking at the coast, while watching the beautiful summer sunset.
This hike is a UNIQUE one, blending together the beauty of nature and historical ruins.

HIKE DESCRIPTION: We will start our hike from Hraiche, where a very cozy path among olive trees will lead us to a small church called Saidet el Khrayeb. We will then continue among the olive trees until we start seeing the sea. The track will then lead to Anfeh, an old village rich in ruins and caves. We will experience the pleasant moments of hiking at the coast, while watching the beautiful summer sunset. We will visit the salt ponds and a very old monastery, “Deir El Natour”. We will end the hike in “Tahet El Rih” where we will swim and explore the Citadel of Anfeh.

The citadel is considered a Crusader ruin, but it was an important place for many other civilizations. The citadel is characterized by its rock-cut trench (Al-Khandaq).
This expedition will include multiple short breaks to enjoy nature and the scenery. After the hike, for those who like, we will have a small gathering altogether at one of the restaurants in “Tahet El Rih”, “a la carte”.
Don’t forget your swimming suit at home!

•Level: easy to medium suitable for all
•Distance: 7kms
•Hiking duration: 2.5 Hours

Departure : 2 pm (sharp) Furn el Chebbak in front of Burger King on high way.
and 2:20 pm (sharp) Dbayeh under Naccache bridge in front of Demerjian center before Spinneys on Highway.

* we can pick up hikers that live on our way

Required Materials:
- Hiking boots
- Backpack
- 2 L of water
- Sunglasses
- Sunscreen
- Healthy snacks
- Hat
-head light
- Swiming suit
-Extra clothes
-Towel

* Fees:
200’000LBP ( this amount includes transportation, guides (with local guide)and first aid kit but does not includes medical insurance)
