299,000 LL/person or 11 $ including transport (comfortable Pullman), professional guides, 5 minutes warming up, stretching, and pictures.

Children 18 years old and younger will have a discount of 10%. (270,000 LL per person)

Optional transportation by your own vehicle 200,000 LL/person

There is a 40.000LL Extra Entrance fee to the Lake. For under 16 years the entrance fee is 20.000LL.

 

 

 

DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT:

Janneh, as the name reveals, is a piece of heaven on earth and the lake is known as Jannet Chouwen

Nahr Ibrahim or "River of Abraham” is also known as river Adonis (river of immortal love) relative to the myth of Adonis and Astarte in Phoenician mythology. Today, it is one of the tourist attractions in Lebanon, being the place where the ancient god Adonis died, and the river became red with his blood.

The valley offers a varied landscape and it’s considered one of the most enchanting for hiking in Jbeil Caza.

 

HIKING LEVEL. 1 to 3 for easy, 4 to 6 for intermediate, 7 to 9 for strenuous

Level 4 (5 km, approx. 2:30Hr) will start from Chouwen village near the water source and take the path in the village, then in the middle of "Jabal Moussa" passing through trees and bushes where the views are remarkable. The trail will lead you to the marvelous lake "Jannet Chouwen” where will stop at the platform. There will come back down along a trail offering many scenic spots to the riverbank near the old mill, and an old stone bridge for lunch, relax under the shade of the trees and enjoy the sound of water. You may benefit from a swim in the clean transparent water as well. From there you’ll head up to the bus.

 

Protect yourself and others around you by knowing the facts and taking appropriate precautions:

Distancing from each other is a must.

Cover your nose and mouth with your face masks. To keep it on, while we are on the bus.

Clean your hands often by using hand gel or other.

Healthy snacks that will boost your energy include dried fruits, lunch, water, MEDICAL FACE MASKS, HAND GEL, cap, sunglasses swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen.
