The comic book album Les Fusibles, published by Editions Dupuis, signed Joseph Safieddine and illustrated by Cyril Doisneau, is about to come to life in a captivating exhibition. Immerse yourself in the story of three young people living in Tyre, Lebanon, dreaming of themselves as superheroes amid the country's social, security and energy challenges. The journey of these friends unfolds through their choices of emigration or resistance, testifying to the complex realities of their nation. The exhibition reveals emblematic plates from the album as well as the graphic research of Cyril Doisneau.

Photographic archives also shed light on the family journey of Joseph Safieddine, raised in France within a Franco-Lebanese family, and whose comic book creations reflect this dual identity. Finally, the exhibition highlights the work of the album’s colorist, Isabelle Merlet.
