Renowned Oud virtuoso Naseer Shamma leads 14 master soloists from around the world in Modon Al Narjess—a powerful musical dialogue celebrating cultural diversity and peace. Each artist, a virtuoso in their own right, brings a unique voice to this global performance under Shamma’s artistic direction.

An Iraqi master of the Oud, Shamma holds a PhD in Musical Philosophy and has received over 60 international awards. His legacy includes more than sixty original compositions and performances across the globe.

Founder of the Arab Oud House (Cairo, Abu Dhabi, Alexandria, Baghdad), Shamma has played a key role in bridging Arab and global music traditions. His humanitarian work has earned him global recognition, including roles as UNESCO Artist for Peace and goodwill ambassador for the Red Crescent and Red Cross.
