Hiking Al Shouf Reserve with Viltrail

Trail Description
This Thursday, explore one of Lebanon’s top hiking destinations — the Al-Shouf Cedar Nature Reserve, home to ancient cedar trees over 2,000 years old.

Starting at the Maasser Al-Shouf entrance, the trail passes the iconic Lamartine Cedar, blooming wildflowers, and panoramic mountain views. The route continues through Massiaf Al-Mir, reaches a scenic lake, and follows the picturesque Acacia Trail, ending at the Barouk entrance among majestic cedar groves.

• Transport: By bus (pick-up available en route)

• Meeting Point: 7:30 a.m., Nahr El Kalb Bridge

• Return: Around 4:30 p.m.

• What to Bring: Water, hat, insurance card, and good vibes
