Kfour

The Sentier des Sources hiking trail unfolds across two distinct loops, each offering a window into Lebanon’s rich natural landscapes and storied past. Beginning at Ain Breich, the Southern Loop spans 4.8 km at a moderate pace, guiding hikers along ancient Roman stairs, a verdant stream, the storied ruins of a silk factory and into the welcoming village of Kfour. To the north, the gentler Northern Loop sets off from the Yatoun entrance, meandering through charming villages and past landmarks such as the Saint Charbel and Sister Barabia old Church — a perfect outing for families. Rounding out the experience, the Moon’s Trail stretches 4.7 km, inviting adventurers to uncover even more of Kfour’s hidden treasures. Sannine–Qornayel

A natural wonderland, this trail is known for its scenic landscapes and the many natural springs scattered along the route. However, it’s best to avoid this area during hunting season, as the sound of gunfire can be distressing for dogs.

Niha to Jezzine

Among Lebanon’s most rewarding hikes, this trail stretches from Nabi Ayoub to the Niha Fortress before continuing toward Jezzine. The route offers sweeping views and varied landscapes, making it a memorable experience for both hikers and their dogs. One section requires passing through farmland populated with sheep and guarded by shepherd dogs. Brummana

Ammiq Wetlands
