Difficulty level: Moderate
Hike distance: ~7Km (~5-6 hours including long swimming break)
Elevation Gain/Loss: +270 / -270m
Departure time from Beirut (Karout Mall bridge, Hadath): 12:00pm
Expected return time to Beirut: ~7-8:00pm

Description:

We will be exploring a beautiful area of Jabal Moussa; the hidden gems of Chouwen.
The highlights of our trail will be the panoramic balcony where you will witness the beauty of the fabulous Chouwen lake from above.
We will then start our hidden gems hunt by following a wild path, cross a cave formation, walk through the shallow water to reach the other side of the river and enjoy a marvelous swim in the hidden water tunnel. The views are out of this world!
We will have enough time for your already packed lunch, a swim (optional but highly recommended) and some really cool photos.

Pre-Hike Brunch Stop: We will have a 30 minutes brunch / coffee stop on our way

What to Bring:
2L of water, lunch & snacks, hat, sunscreen, swimsuit (optional but recommended) & your chill vibes
