Mon Histoire
The My Story exhibition tells the story of Lebanon through its women. From October 19 to November 10, 2022, 40 portraits of great Lebanese female figures will be visible in the Bekaa, divided between the mythical Palmyra Hotel in Baalbeck and the French Institute in Zahlé.
Ten Lebanese artists - Kamal Hakim, Noémie Honein, Maya Zankoul, Joseph Kaï, Mohamed Kraitem, Laure Ibrahim, Ralph Doumit, Dalia Baassiri, Sinan Hallak, Zénobie - produced these portraits of women, including adventurers, magistrates, businesswomen or even filmmakers, all of whom are the pride of the Pays du Cèdre.
Since the launch of the exhibition in Beirut last March, My Story has wanted to raise awareness among Lebanese youth about women's rights in Lebanon. It is accompanied by a multidisciplinary and digital collaborative platform, the objective of which is that it be enriched by contributions from the public.
The opening will take place on October 19 at 5 p.m. at the Palmyra Hotel in Baalbeck, then the exhibition can be visited until November 10, on 08 802 803 (Zahlé) and 08 377 436 (Baalbeck).
