Located just southwest of the village of Safinet el-Qaytaah, between the districts of Denniyeh and Akkar, the mountainous area of Ouyoun al-Samak is home to a beautiful artificial lake and waterfalls, ideal for hiking and a picnic.
Ouyoun el-Samak means “springs of fish,” and the springs here feed the Cold River, which has been dammed off to create hydroelectric power. The water also nurtures a shoreline that riots with color and floral diversity during the growing seasons, and helps irrigate nearby farmland.The walk is along the river bank. There are a lot of trees and bushes. You will have enough time to rest, contemplate, and take pictures.

Lunch break will be in an amazing place(plz bring your lunch with you) or you can take a lunch in a restaurant there near the waterfall.

*8:15 AM from jounieh near cafe abi nasr behind stade fouad chehab.

‎عيون السمك تقع بين الضنيه وعكار بالقرب من قرية سفينة القيطع وهي من اهم الاماكن السياحية في لبنان جمالها خلاب حيث يوجد فيها شلالات مدهشة وبرك مياه وبحيرات تمجد الخالق و تستعمل لتوليد الطاقة الكهربائية وري الاراضي الزراعية وتغذية السد الذي يقام قرب نهر البارد.
‎مشينا سيكون بالقرب من النهر وبين تلك الاماكن الجميلة جدا وبين الاشجار الشاهقة وزهور الربيع.سيكون لنا الوقت الكافي لاخذ الصور والاستراحة والتأمل في هذا الجمال الالهي الذي لا يوصف.
سيكون لنا حالتين من المشي:
الاولى سهلة حوالي ٦ كلم
الثانية متوسطة حوالي ١٠ كلم
الغداء سيكون في مكان مميز في الطبيعة (الرجاء من كل شخص ان ياتي بغداءه معه) او بامكانكم الغداء في مطعم هناك قرب الشلال.
