Join us for a relaxing sunset hike at Chahtoul on Saturday, June 1st, 2024.

Mar Abda Church parking facing the New bridge, Jal El Dib, @ 3:00 PM

FEES:
18 $/person or equivalent including transport (comfortable air-conditioned Pullman), professional guides, 5 minutes of warming up, stretching, and pictures.
Children 18 years old and younger will have a discount of 15% (16 $/person).
Make a group of 5 persons (& more) and get a 20% discount (15$ per person).

DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT:
This sunset hike offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the fresh air and witness the beautiful summer sunset in the Keserwan area. We'll explore the Cedars Forest and hike along an easy downhill path for 2 hours. Starting in Raachine, we'll visit St. Stephan Church and explore the breathtaking rock formations in the area. The hike will take us to the sanctuary overlooking the camp and then down to "Sanctuary St. Marina" and "Our Lady of Fortress" (Saidet El Kalaa) in Chahtoul, where we'll be treated to spectacular views exposed to the sun.

The evening will conclude with a cozy gathering around a campfire, enjoying homemade mankoushe dinner on a saj and roasted potatoes prepared by local villagers.

WHAT TO BRING:
Healthy snacks (dried fruit), a flashlight, water, a cap, and sunglasses. Wear comfortable walking shoes (professional brand recommended) and bring a light jacket. DC members receive a 20% discount on sports equipment at Sports 4 Ever branches.
