DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT:
Join us on a memorable hike:
- Visit Hsarat village and Deir Mar Youhanna (St. John).
- Hike along an easy downhill and uphill path from Hsarat to Bjerrine (the Ghost Village) and then to Hbaline.
- Walk along the mountain on a Phoenician track with stunning Mediterranean Sea views.
- Explore Bjerrine Village, an abandoned village with ancient ruins dating back to Canaanite, Phoenician, and Roman eras.
- Visit Mar Elias Church and discover old houses, mills, and wells.
- Continue to Hbaline for more picturesque views and landmarks.
WHAT TO BRING:
- Healthy snacks, flashlight, water, cap, sunglasses, and comfortable walking shoes.
- Don't forget a light jacket.
