Captivating travelers from far and wide, join us as we uncover the top things to do in Bcharreh Al Arz.

1- Visit the Gibran Khalil Gibran Museum

The museum, originally a cavern used by hermits since the 7th century, was given to the Carmelite Fathers by the people of Bsharreh in the 17th century. It reopened to the public on August 15, 1995, housing Gibran’s belongings from his New York apartment. The museum now features these items across 16 rooms on three floors, leading to Gibran’s tomb.

2- Hike in the Kadisha Valley

The Kadisha Valley stands as a distinct world of its own, ranking among Lebanon’s and the world’s most stunning destinations. Its unmatched beauty and sanctity surpass any other place we’ve explored previously. It’s exclusive hiking excursions and leisurely walks within the Kadisha Valley cater to all our tourists’ needs.

3- Explore the Qadisha Grotto

The Qadisha Grotto, estimated to be 10 million years old, was discovered in 1903 but proper exploration began in 1923 with the Qadisha electric project. Currently, 778 meters of the cave have been surveyed, showcasing stunning stalactites and stalagmites. Accessible via a 7-kilometer drive or walk from Bcharreh off the old road to The Cedars, visitors can follow signs and a concrete footpath marked by the “Entree Grotte Kadicha” sign for a 1.5-kilometer journey to the grotto.
