Qanat Bakish is a stunning mountain landscape on Mount Sannine near Faqra, offering sweeping panoramic views that become truly magical under a blanket of snow. The experience includes a relaxed walk across snow-covered peaks, crisp mountain air, and breathtaking scenery.
The trail leads to a hidden cedar forest with remarkable views. Two hiking levels are available:
Easy level: A gentle walk with mild ups and downs, ideal for an enjoyable snowshoeing experience and photo stops.
Moderate level: A longer walk with sustained, but not steep, ascents, suited for more experienced walkers.
Both routes pass by the world’s largest illuminated cross, The Cross of All Nations, standing 73.8 m high and 37 m wide. Lit by 1,800 spotlights and inaugurated in 2010, it features two elevators leading to a viewing platform at the top.
The group will reunite for lunch at a scenic snowy spot.
