A Realm of My Senses – Niemeyer’s Legacy Through the Lens of Nadine Ashkar

This black-and-white photo series reimagines Oscar Niemeyer’s unfinished modernist masterpiece—the Rachid Karami International Fair in Tripoli—through Nadine Ashkar’s lens. Raw concrete forms emerge as symbols of feminine strength, resilience, and transformation.

Recognized by UNESCO in 2023, the RKIF is Niemeyer’s only work outside Brazil to receive World Heritage status—an enduring symbol of Lebanon’s modernist vision and cultural ties with Brazil.

The exhibition runs until October 10, 2025.
