Baakline Hike with Vamos Todos
Discover Baakline, a scenic village in the Shouf region known for its rich natural landscapes and cultural heritage. The experience begins with a visit to the historic National Library. It was built in 1897 during the Ottoman era and later restored. Afterward, the hike continues through the surrounding trails.
Two hiking levels are available:
Level 3 (Moderate):
The trail starts in Baakline and passes through dense forests and near Hamadeh Castle. Then, it reaches the river, where participants can enjoy a relaxing break by the waterfall and tall trees. After that, the hike returns to the village. Finally, participants enjoy a traditional lunch prepared by a local women’s association. There is also an option to purchase homemade products.
Level 6 (Challenging):
This route starts in Beit el Dine. First, it includes visits to Beit el Dine Palace and Deir el Kamar. Then, it joins the Level 3 trail near Hamadeh Castle. From there, the hike continues toward the river for a refreshing break. Afterward, a transfer takes participants to the lunch location.
