Color Against Silence, Rana Boustani

You are warmly invited to discover a new body of work inspired by the villages and cities of South Lebanon. These places embody memory, resilience, and belonging.

Through vibrant colors and luminous landscapes, the paintings celebrate the enduring spirit of these communities. They preserve places that continue to live through art, imagination, and remembrance.

An evening of color, memory, and hope.

Artist Statement

The villages and cities of South Lebanon inspire my work. To me, they are more than geographic locations. They carry memory, history, and the stories of generations.

Rather than document these places, I seek to capture their enduring spirit. I use luminous colors, golden skies, and rhythmic architectural forms to transform familiar landscapes into spaces where memory and imagination meet.

For me, color preserves what time cannot erase. Architecture holds memory. Landscape expresses identity. Light carries hope and belonging.

My paintings do not define South Lebanon by destruction. Instead, they celebrate its resilience, beauty, and continuity. Through art, these places continue to live in memory and imagination.
