Beirut Art Days is back. From 24-27 June, the citywide cultural festival returns for its third edition under the slogan “Art Is Our Capital,” bringing together artists, galleries, museums, cultural institutions and independent initiatives across Beirut and beyond.
Organized by Agenda Culturel, Beirut Art Days 2026 will feature more than 120 events presented by over 40 participants. Visitors will be able to explore exhibitions, performances, workshops, talks, conferences and cultural gatherings in venues across the capital and further afield.
This year’s edition arrives at a particularly challenging moment for Lebanon. Amid ongoing uncertainty and a deep national crisis, Beirut Art Days serves as a reminder of the essential role culture plays in society. More than a celebration of artistic expression, the festival highlights the importance of preserving creativity, dialogue, memory and human connection.
“At a time when so much feels uncertain, we believed it was more important than ever not to leave the space empty. Beirut Art Days is our way of saying that culture still matters, that artists still have something to say and that the public still needs moments of beauty, discovery and connection. Canceling would have been the easiest option. Continuing felt like the necessary one,” says Myriam Nasr Shuman, director, Agenda Culturel.
Held under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, the event is supported by the Delegation of the European Union to Lebanon, Dalloul Art Foundation, Saadallah & Loubna Khalil Foundation and Commercial Insurance.
For four days, Beirut becomes a space for discovery, reflection and exchange. From contemporary art exhibitions and artist studios to performances, discussions and community initiatives, Beirut Art Days invites the public to engage with Lebanon’s vibrant cultural scene and experience the city through a creative lens.
More than a festival, Beirut Art Days is a collective affirmation that art continues to inspire, unite and create meaning, even in difficult times.
