Join the event this Sunday to hike in Donnieh district - North of Lebanon between the meadow of Bcherneta & Daraya valley located under Karm el Mohr village, famous in it's biggest oak tree in Donnieh. The altitude range is between 1200m, 1400 and 1000 m and it is 105 kms away from Beirut.

The hike will start from Shalout (1200 m) taking a footpath toward qornet el keif (1400 m) between oak trees. Later the trail will continue to the meadow of Bcherneta famous in apple orchards (1350 m). We will have the opportunity to taste there delicious apple. Ain safi (1300 m) is our next destination then we will take a small uphill to reach Daraya biggest oak tree to take a lunch break under it's shadow near an old abandoned castle.
The last part of our trail, is Daraya valley (900 m). We will pass by several kind of trees, shir el arous, engraved rocks, a river bank and a footpath inside a forest a beautiful and dense forest leading us to Karm el Mohr village (1000 m)

Meeting point: Jal el dib between DHL and Banque Libano Francaise facing the Canadian embassy ( we can pick our hikers that live on our way)

Required materials: hiking boots, backpack, hat, 3L of water, jacket, healthy snacks (like nuts, almonds, fruits, dried fruits, dates, protein bar) hiking sticks, sunscreen, sunglasses, and comfortable pants, raincoat.

Fees: 12 $ or equivalent in LBP (including transportation, guidance, giveaways, and parking but does not include medical insurance)
