Hike distance: ~7Km (~5-6 hours including breaks & swimming)
Elevation Gain/Loss: +270 / -270
Meeting time in Beirut (Karout Mall bridge, Hadath): 7:50am
Description:
This weekend, we will be exploring another area of Jabal Moussa; the hidden gems of Chouwen.
The highlights of our trail will be the panoramic balcony where you will witness the beauty of the fabulous Chouwen lake from above.
We will then start our hidden gems hunt by following a wild path, cross a cave formation, walk through the shallow water to reach the other side of the river and enjoy a marvelous swim in the hidden water tunnel.
We will have enough time for your already packed lunch, a swim (optional but highly recommended) and some really cool photos.
What to Bring:
2L of water, lunch & snacks, hat, sunscreen, swimsuit (optional but recommended) & your chill vibes
