Beirut - June 2022: The LT Gallery is pleased to welcome you to contemporary artist Ghassan Ouais’ first sculpture solo exhibition titled THE MORNING HAZE.
Rooted in experimentation, the solo show exudes a more sensual approach to sculptural artistry where the artist gently molds clay to depict the morning state of limbo between half-awake and half-asleep.
Ouais’s slumberous bronze sculptures, showcased for the first time at The LT Gallery, are inspired by his signature Melting Faces series of paintings. THE MORNING HAZE thereby comes as a new chapter in the artist’s study of human emotion and its structural impact on the human face at a moment of clarity, right before the daily grind starts.
The opening is set to take place on Thursday, June 16 from 6 to 9 PM at The LT Gallery space in Mar Mikhael and the exhibit will subsequently run until June 30.
