Hiking In Kfarmechky, Beqaa with We Are Hikers

We start our hike at Kfarmechky church where we pass through several beautiful views in Beqaa valley where we reach a location, we can see the mount Haramoun to our left and Kfarmechky plains of plants and trees to our right. Once we reach our first level around (6 - 7km) we will have a 10 minutes break to see the old historical Romanian temple.
On level 2, we resume our hike towards plain fields where we pass through grapes, apples and fig trees where we will find a beautiful place where we will have the lunch break for 20 minutes. The second part of the trail has slight hills with amazing wide views of a big part of Beqaa where we reach the last 2km to be considered the best part of enjoyment in the trail.

Our hiking information:
- Distance: 12km
- Hiking level Medium/Easy (4/10)
- Cumulative ascent: +100m
- Cumulative descent: -350m
- Altitude: max 1250m min 900m
- Time for hiking between 4:00 till 4:30 hours slow steps
- We will have approximately 10 short breaks of around 3 mins each before we reach the end.
Best stuff to bring with you for hiking are the following:
- Backpack
- ID Card or Passport
- Self Insurance Card (if you have one)
- Extra sweatshirt and a thin jacket
- Hiking shoes
- Hiking stick (optional)
- 2 liter of water
- Dried fruits or chocolate power bars for hiking that keep you warm and give you power to hike.
