If a picture is worth a thousand words, how about a book full of them? These three photography books capture the beauty of Lebanon, one page at a time.
Marie-Noelle Fattal’s photography book “Beirut Footsteps” features a selection of her favorite Instagram posts from her page. With images of Beirut’s vivid scenery and colorful walls, the book is Fattal’s way of immortalizing the city that she loves so much.
The book is available in bookstores around the country and online from 23 November, with a special book signing taking place on 22 November at Liza restaurant in Achrafieh.
Seasons of Lebanon
“Seasons of Lebanon,” a photography book by the award winning Jamal Saidi, is full of rich and vibrant images of Lebanon. The delicate transition from one season to the next is portrayed in each striking photograph as the viewer is encouraged to explore the hidden beauty behind Lebanon’s unique landscapes.
The book will be available at the end of November.
Getting Lost in Lebanon
Published by author and journalist Warren Singh-Bartlett, “Getting Lost in Lebanon” is part guide, part photo book. The images largely show Lebanon’s serene mountains and coastline, captured by Singh-Bartlett during his month-long hike with the LMTA in April 2016 and during his numerous road trips.
The book can be ordered online from Amazon, Bookwitty and FNAC.
