Creative Liberation, Moko Khachatrian
Moko Khachatrian, born in Yerevan in 1969, is the daughter of renowned Armenian painter Rudolf Khachatrian. She grew up in an artistic home and began painting at the age of two. Khachatrian later studied at the Terlemezyan State College of Fine Arts and the Yerevan Fine Arts Institute, where she developed a distinctly Expressionist style. She describes her process as intuitive and driven by a need for free expression rather than predetermined themes.
She has held solo exhibitions in Armenia and Russia and has taken part in group shows in Beirut, Paris, Dubai, Kuwait, Zurich, Moscow and New York. Collectors worldwide own her work, and museums in Kuwait and Armenia also feature her paintings.
