Lebanon’s historic coastal city of Batroun is set to come alive this summer with the Batroun International Festival. From 18 July to 7 September, this vibrant festival will showcase music, culture, art and food across several unique events designed to highlight the city’s rich heritage and dynamic spirit.

The Batroun International Festival kicks off on 18 July with the lively Wine, Beer and Seafood Festival at the fishermen’s port. Over three days, visitors can enjoy fresh local seafood paired with Lebanon’s finest wines and craft beers while being serenaded by popular artists like Hanine, Zef and Ayam Al-Lira. The festival is a perfect way to taste the flavors of the Mediterranean while soaking in the harbor views.

On 25 July, the internationally acclaimed singer Saint Levant will headline a special concert at Batroun Port, promising an unforgettable night of music under the stars.

Art lovers can look forward to the month-long Batroun Photo exhibition opening on 1 August in the Old Souk, featuring stunning visuals that capture the essence of the region’s culture and landscape.

The summer closes with the Mediterranean Short Film Festival from 4-7 September in the historic Old Migrant Quarter, bringing together filmmakers and audiences to celebrate cinematic storytelling.

A highlight of the festival season will be the “Batroun Capital of Sailing” event, showcasing a spectacular gathering of sailboats forming a giant compass in the Bay of Bahsa, with a floating stage hosting live performances. This event honors Batroun’s new name, “Lebanon’s Sailing Capital,” which will be announced once weather conditions permit it.

Organized by the Batroun International Festivals Committee, these events reflect the city’s resilience and commitment to celebrating life, art and community even amid challenges.

Tickets are available through Virgin Ticketing Box Office.
