6 Activities to Keep You Busy this Weekend

1. GARDEN OF WORDS

Join Documented Experiences for an afternoon of poetry and storytelling in Concept 2092’s garden.  There will be an open mic and live performances. You can even sign up at the door to share your tales.

2. BATROUN TOUR

Discover the center of ancient Batroun, taste and learn about its fermented juices and drafts, and take a dip in Batroun’s gorgeous blue sea. The day starts with a wine tour and tasting at the Aurora winery, followed by a guided tour through Batroun’s charming old center and a visit to Colonel Microbrewery.

3. GET ACTIVE

4. SOUAD MASSI 

Zouk Mikhael International Festival is set to open with a concert by Algerian chanteuse Souad Massi. Known for mixing Berber lyrics with contemporary guitar music, Massi will perform a great lineup of her renowned hits, as well as new music.

5. CINE-CONCERT WITH KHALED MOUZANAR AND NADINE LABAKI 

Baalbeck International Festival is organizing a fundraising event which features a unique live cine-concert by Khaled Mouzanar and his orchestra, with the projection of extracts of Nadine Labaki’s prize-winning film “Capharnaüm.”
The show will take place in the presence of the filmmaker and the main cast.

6. RHYTHMS OF A DIFFERENT TIME 

Toufic Abdul-Al’s art exhibition aims to present a new narrative in his works by showcasing the core of his art and connecting it to its origin. The exhibition comprises a collection of video installations that feature Abdul-Al’s relatives and friends as well as his muse, the ancient city of Acre.
