M de Noir was selected among the 25 best chocolatiers in the world at the renowned Salon du Chocolat Paris 2019. Founded by Lebanese native Maya Maalouf Kanaan, M de Noir offers an assortment of noble confections, including delicious chocolates.

Having acquired the know-how at the prestigious schools of Ritz Escoffier and Valrhona, Kanaan invites the refined and sophisticated gourmets to share her passion and melt in her unique universe of aromas and flavors.

Speaking of the prestigious accolade, Kanaan says: “It is an honor to be rewarded once again. What makes my heart melt is when everyone calls me ‘la petite Libanaise’ — a way for me promote my beloved country and show the people that no matter the circumstances, Lebanon is all about beauty, taste, creativity and, most importantly, perseverance.”

Salon du Chocolat is the world’s largest event dedicated to chocolate. It presents and celebrates chocolate in all its forms: gourmet, gastronomic, artistic and cultural. The famous Paris event, which this year celebrates its 25th edition, brings together 500 professionals and more than 200 European and international chocolate makers. It provides an opportunity for visitors to discover the latest chocolate trends and to buy some of the most refined products within a special setting.
