La Fin Du Romantisme, Gregory Buchakjian – François Sargologo – Hanibal Srouji
Galerie Janine Rubeiz presents
The End of Romanticism
A group exhibition featuring Gregory Buchakjian, François Sargologo, and Hanibal Srouji
A decade after their first collaboration, Pellicula, artists Gregory Buchakjian, François Sargologo, and Hanibal Srouji come together once more for The End of Romanticism, a collective exhibition that reflects on the shifting modes of image-making and memory.
Exploring the fading echoes of Romanticism, the exhibition blurs lines between painting, photography, drawing, and text. Sargologo captures photographic scenes of untamed, verdant landscapes that evoke both beauty and entropy. Buchakjian overlays architectural sketches of Roman temples onto modern industrial ruins, while Srouji contrasts vibrant, large-format works with scorched, fragmented landscapes in muted tones.
