Take Time Out at Trinity 5, Faraya’s Newest Getaway

Perched on top of a cliff in the beautiful village of Faraya, Trinity 5 is a perfect mountain escape for those seeking a luxurious break just an hour from Beirut. We learn more about this exciting bungalow project from the owners, Elie and Iman Salameh.

What inspired you to create Trinity 5?

It has always been a dream for us to have our own business, especially in our homeland — Lebanon. And where else to make this dream come true than in Faraya, where we are from. We felt it was important to show Faraya in a different way — not just a ski destination that’s worth visiting in winter. It is a truly beautiful place that’s perfect all year round.

What does the project consist of?

There are three modern bungalows that are 85 square meters in size. They are split over two floors; the ground floor features a cozy sitting area, a bar, a kitchenette and a bathroom. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms (a double and a twin) as well as a bathroom. We took time to ensure that each unit was designed and executed to the highest quality. A lot of thought, love and care has gone into the decor and finishing touches.

Outside, each bungalow has its own barbecue and chill-out area. In addition, there are two small swimming pools and green spaces that are shared.

Why did you choose the name “Trinity 5”?

There are five elements to the project: the three bungalows, the two swimming pools and the lounge. We also have a small surprise for our guests every day at 5 pm.

Who does it appeal to?

Trinity 5 is an escape for families, young couples and friends seeking a place to relax and embrace the great outdoors. There are plenty of activities that can enjoyed nearby: hiking, biking, walking, meditating and, of course, skiing in winter. It is very close to Beirut, and yet it feels like a million miles away. Our guests can completely disconnect while they are with us. We are so passionate about what we do, and we really do our best to make sure that whoever stays with us leaves with a lasting impression of our village.
